Welcome to INCA HIKE, a staff of professionals in adventure hikes.
Cusco and Machu Picchu are a marvelous combination of untouched jungle, pristine snow-capped mountains and unique Inca stone masonry. Let us lead you on one of the alternative treks to Machu Picchu, which are less crowded than the classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
All our treks and tours apply to "Free Walking Tour Cusco", one or two days before your hike.

Inca trail permits
The maximum number of Inca trail permits is 500. Support staff is included within the five hundred, meaning that about 200 permits are allocated for tourist and about 300 for cooks, porters and guides each day. Inca trail permit availability shown herein is directly provided by the Peruvian Government.
Inca Hike makes its best effort to secure permits for our customers, however, permits are sold by the Government on a first come, first serve basis.
Inca Trail 2015
We have now started to take Inca Trail trek bookings for 2015. Book early and take advantage of paying 2014 rates versus the higher 2015 rates. (Only reservations done until December will keep 2014 price) For trek departures in March, April, May and June we strongly advise that you make a trek booking BEFORE the end of November. This will give us time to process your booking and get the paperwork in order to buy your trek permits as soon as they go on sale either towards the end of December or early in January (exact date has yet to be confirmed by the authorities). In the last few years the authorities have requested a full list of all of our clients names and passports at least 2 weeks before the permits go on sale. Only the names of clients on these lists were considered for trek permits during the first round of ticket sales. Please try to make your booking as soon as possible since some dates during the first week of March, April, May and around mid-June (Inti Raymi) are likely to sell out straight away.
